Many companies simply use the cheapest ingredients they can find without regard for the effectiveness of those ingredients. Their only ingredient selection criteria is how much profit they can make, not how effective their products are. Greenwood Health Systems products are manufactured from the best available ingredients. We pay extra to ensure you get the best, most effective products possible. 2. Ingredients Are Only Used In Quantities Research Has Shown To Be Effective. Many companies produce products containing numerous ingredients that are present in such minute quantities that those ingredients are totally ineffective. They do this for the simple reason that they wish to "cash in" on being able to promote the beneficial effects of the ingredient. This practice is, in our opinion, dishonest as it is useless to put 5mg of an ingredient in a product if the therapeutic dosage that is required to have any beneficial effect is 500mg. All Greenwood Health Systems products have the full "supplemental facts" panels listed on the individual products pages to allow viewers to easily compare them against similar products. 3. NO Animal Based Extracts Or Materials Are Used. Greenwood Health Systems has chosen not to use any animal based ingredients or extracts in any of our products for a variety of ethical and safety reasons. 4. Only Capsules Are Used, Rather Than Tablets. Many other companies produce products in tablet form. This practice allows then to save money and fit more ingredients into a smaller space as tablets can be highly compressed. Unfortunately, tablets then need to use "binders" to keep them from disintegrating, and many of them are also coated with shellac materials to make them easier to swallow. This practice can also make them indigestible and allow them to pass through the body intact. In other words, instead of swallowing them, you may as well simply pour them straight into the toilet, as that is where they are going to wind up anyway. Greenwood Health Systems spends the extra money to produce easily digestible capsules, as a capsule is a much more efficient delivery system. 5. Only Vegetable Based Capsules Are Used. Many companies use gelatin* based capsules simply to save money as gelatin capsules are much cheaper than vegetable capsules. In keeping with our policy of providing the best possible products, we only use vegetable capsules. *Gelatin is manufactured from pork and beef skin material collected from abattoirs and meatworks. |
